"Cogs Puzzle Theme" from COGS on Windows & macOS (2009)

If I were going to listen to any music in a genre that I'm not a particular fan of, this piece, "Cogs Puzzle Theme," is the music that I would 100% be looking for. As I've brought up a couple of times in the past, I'm not a huge fan of sliding block puzzles, and COGS being entirely just that, having some clockwork-esque, calming string and harp music while I fiddle around with half a dozen blocks and find myself in a significantly worse situation than when I started.
I should note that I extended the song, as it is presented on the soundtrack as lasting only 30.9 seconds, and there are several puzzles where you're expected to have finished before those 30.9 seconds have elapsed. I am not one of those people, with the time component usually being what I either earn a bronze or no medal (meaning additional stars) on. But that's okay with me. I think if the song were more manic, fast-paced, or energetic, it would not only not work with the visuals, but I would likely find it incredibly annoying, and I probably would not have played as much of the game as I have, but I'll get into that in our next Game EXP Trilogy article.
For now, you can enjoy this short (although extended here) theme that plays in COGS when you're trying to solve an overly complex, yet simplistic, sliding block puzzle.
